San Diego Global Knowledge University (SDGKU) was originally accredited by the Accrediting Council of Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) in 2016 after starting as a for-profit S Corporation in the State of California. As of November 2021, there were approximately 200 SDGKU alumni listed on Linkedin. The Full Stack Coding Program offered by SDGKU is 100% online and was developed for coding beginners in mind (only a highschool diploma or equivalent is required to enroll) and designed to be completed in 30 weeks. Given that SDGKU is accredited by ACIS, students are eligible to apply for FAFSA to cover the $17,258.50 tuition. CA residents are eligible for the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF). In addition to FAFSA, grants/scholarships, payment plans, and partial tuition waivers are available to certain students. SDGKU does not currently disclose any graduation or job placement outcomes so be sure to speak about this with a representative admissions counselor at SDGKU.
