Rithm School - based in San Francisco - was founded in 2016 by Elie Schoppik, Matt Lane, and Tim Garcia. Rithm School markets themselves (impressively) as teachers who are developers (as opposed to the other way around). We noticed that each instructor emphasizes their previous teaching experience, which is atypical of coding bootcamps who put more emphasis on their career creds. But the Rithm School team can code. Rithm School wants their students to come in prepared. Those who enroll in Rithm School would need to complete 60-80 hours of pre-work before beginning a 16-week hybrid learning course. The level of outcomes data Rithm School shares with students is among the “best in class,” but we’d tell you to ask the Rithm School admissions team how frequently they update. We believe Rithm School is a bootcamp to watch over the next decade, especially since they’ve partnered with the VC firm Slow Ventures to place some of their recent grads.
