About Institution
Noble Desktop has history: The program bills itself as one of the oldest coding bootcamps in New York. Founded in 1990, Noble Desktop offers a range of learning options — everything from a full-stack web development certificate (210 hours) to introductory courses in Python (12 hours). We like that their hybrid models allows students to complete the course online or on their campus in Midtown. Students are reassured with their Learn The Skills guarantee, which reimburses students should they not learn the coursework, but the fine print requires a bit of clarification from their career counselors. While Noble Desktop markets themselves as “New York State-certified,” this doesn’t mean the state provides a job guarantee or placement. We’d like to see this bootcamp publish more personalized outcomes data and provide discounts for full-time bootcamps. Still, the course catalogue options are among the most we’ve seen for different types of learners.
