About Institution
Based in Southern Florida, Lynn University partners with BrainStation Miami (formerly Wyncode Academy) to offer a 10-week immersive coding bootcamp for $15,000. We were impressed to see a partnership with the Knight Foundation to offer a Future Leaders of Tech Fellowship aimed at underrepresented communities of color in the industry. The ambitious internal goal for Wyncode (prior to its acquisition by BrainStation) was to have a 50/50 split between male and female students, which was at 35% as of 2019. The Lynn University program enjoys a solid reputation among locals, as well as an impressive roster of companies where its grads found jobs. Our only caution: Recent outcomes data is not available. We encourage you to request this report from BrainStation (or Lynn University) and ask the right questions to justify the investment, which is higher than the median cost of other bootcamps.
