About Institution
Kal Academy is a female-centric bootcamp founded by former Microsoft principal software engineering manager, Kal Viswanathan. One of the benefits of Kal Academy is that it’s one of a select few bootcamps that are non-profit. This is apparent in the cost savings: Students pay no more than $2500 on the sixteen-week full stack bootcamp. Their self-reported job placement rate is 85%, however, students will need to ask career counselors whether or not that placement is solely inclusive of full-time jobs in tech sector.
